Privacy

Urth doesn’t collect any data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no tracking and no ads.

Your notes

Your notes are plain text files stored on your devices and in your own iCloud Drive, in Urth’s folder (or a folder you choose). They’re never sent to us; we have no servers.

Weather

If you turn on weather in daily notes, Urth sends your location (or the city you choose) to Apple Weather to get the forecast. Apple handles it under its own privacy policy. Urth keeps only the resulting sentence in your note.

Calendar

If you turn on events in daily notes, Urth reads today’s events on your device to list them in the note. They go nowhere else.

Backups

On a Mac, optional backups are copies of your notes saved to a folder you choose.
